You have questions...we can help you find the answers.
The OAH is pleased to announce a new resource for members of the media. With over 7,000 member historians, the OAH can connect you with subject matter experts on topics ranging from the Electoral College, executive orders, U.S.-Russian relations, and everything in between. In these contentious times, understanding our nation’s history is of critical importance.
OAH members include academics, public historians, educators, and independent historians. They are contributors to publications such as Slate, New York Times, and the Washington Post, and they are frequently called upon to provide historical perspectives on current events.
The below PDF lists participating scholars by both name and subject area expertise. Their professional affiliations are publicly available. Phone numbers and/or email addresses will be provided to members of the media upon request.
We welcome suggestions from members of the media for additional resources that would be beneficial to you and your colleagues. Please contact Executive Director Katherine Finley at firstname.lastname@example.org or (812) 855-7311 between the hours of 8am and 5pm ET.
