Kevin Boyle
The Ohio State University
Kevin Boyle teaches history at The Ohio State University. His work focuses on race, class, and politics in the twentieth-century United States. His most recent book, Arc of Justice: A Saga of Race, Civil Rights and Murder in the Jazz Age (2004), received the National Book Award for nonfiction. He is also author of The UAW and the Heyday of American Liberalism, 1945-1968 (1995) and coauthor of Muddy Boots and Ragged Aprons: Images of Working-Class Detroit, 1900-1930 (1997). Lecture topics:
