Michael W. Flamm

Michael W. FlammMichael W. Flamm has taught modern U.S. history at Ohio Wesleyan University since 1998. He is the author of In the Heat of the Summer: The New York Riots of the 1964 and the War on Crime (2016), Law and Order: Street Crime, Civil Unrest, and the Crisis of Liberalism in the 1960s (2005) and a coauthor of Debating the 1960s (2007), Debating the Reagan Presidency (2009), and the Chicago Handbook for Teachers (2011). He has won several teaching awards and has served as a Fulbright scholar and senior specialist in Argentina.
