Nicole Eustace

Nicole EustaceNicole Eustace is a professor of history at New York University, where she has leadership roles in both the history of women and gender program and the Atlantic history workshop. A historian of the early modern Atlantic and the early United States, she specializes in the history of emotion. She is the author of Passion Is the Gale: Emotion, Power, and the Coming of the American Revolution (2008) and 1812: War and the Passions of Patriotism (2012), and a coeditor of the forthcoming "Warring for America, 1803—1818."
