Adam Green

Adam GreenAdam Green is an associate professor of American history at the University of Chicago, where he also serves as master of the social sciences collegiate division and deputy dean of social sciences. His research interests include modern U.S. history, African American history, urban history, comparative racial politics, and cultural economy. He is the author of Selling the Race: Culture and Community in Black Chicago, 1940-1955 (2007) and a coeditor of Time Longer than Rope: Studies in African American Activism, 1850-1950 (2003).
