March 4, 2005 At the end of February, OAH staff visited San Jose to scout out the city and explore its venues. Here are a few snapshots from their trip. Looking from the Hilton, west toward Santa Cruz, and its connection to the convention center at the left.
Across the street from the Hilton is the Crowne Plaza Hotel and its outdoor patio area.
A few blocks from the Hilton, Marriott, and the convention center is Cesar Chavez park (foreground) and the Fairmont Hotel (straight ahead).
Just minutes from downtown via the light rail or OAH shuttle is the Doubletree Hotel. Inside the Doubletree Hotel
