New Media, Old Media: Historians and the Media

This half-day workshop will *explore* how historians can work successfully with social media of all kinds to reach a variety of public audiences. It will focus on practical information and skills*,* covering current issues in fair use and copyright law *for* historians, how to work with radio producers, and how to *create podcasts and blogs*. Each of the discussions below will last about an hour. *Participants should feel free to bring laptops for the podcasting/blog session.* _Fee: There is a fee for the workshop_. TBD.
