June 26 - June 28, 2003 Designed to provide a forum for history educators to discuss and share effective and creative techniques and strategies, the conference will showcase collaborations that have resulted in more effective teaching and learning. A variety of workshops, panel discussions and interactive sessions will focus on professional development, dynamic curriculum designs and instructional practices that will help to engage students in the pursuit of a richer understanding of history, and help to transform good teaching into great teaching. The Innovations in Collaboration Conference is sponsored by the Organization of American Historians, the American Historical Association and the National Council for the Social Studies.
