The Underground Railroad on the Western Frontier

The fourth annual National Underground Railroad Conference will be held in Topeka, Kansas from July 28–31, 2010. The four-day conference, entitled “Battleground for Freedom: The Underground Railroad on the Western Frontier,” will include renowned speakers, educational workshops, panel discussions, an exhibit hall, a film screening, and tours of local museums and historic sites. The conference is sponsored by the National Park Service Network to Freedom Program.
