NEH Landmarks of American History and Culture Workshops for Community College Faculty
Participate in a National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) Landmarks of American History and Culture Workshops for Community College Faculty Summer Program in 2010. For information on the ten workshops for 2010, please see www.neh.gov/projects/landmarks-college.html. Applications must be postmarked by March 2, 2010. This program is open to full-time, part-time, and adjunct faculty at community colleges. Participants receive stipends to help defray travel and living expenses. The NEH is also sponsoring Seminars and Institutes for College and University Teachers at sites across the country and abroad. Community college faculty members are eligible to participate in these two- to six-week projects. The list of Seminars and Institutes for 2010, along with eligibility requirements and contact information for the directors, is available at www.neh.gov/projects/si-university.html. Guidelines for proposing a seminar or institute to be held in 2011 will be posted at www.neh.gov/grants/guidelines/seminars.html. Guidelines for proposing a Landmarks of American History and Culture Workshop to be held in 2011 will be posted at www.neh.gov/grants/guidelines/landmarks.html (for school teachers) and www.neh.gov/grants/guidelines/landmarkscc.html (for community college faculty). The application deadline is March 16, 2010.
