Professional Organizations and Political Engagements
The Organization of American Historians recently conducted an “interchange” conversation among current and past leaders of the organization. The discussion focuses on the complex relationship between the duties, professional obligations, and avowed mission of a learned society and the personal or political ideologies of the individual members it represents.
