Resources for Volunteer Programs in Archives
The National Archives, in partnership with the Society of American Archivists, announces the launch of Resources for Volunteer Programs in Archives (RVPA), a free online resource that lists dozens of ongoing volunteer activities at archival facilities nationwide. RVPA also provides guidance for archival institutions that plan to revamp or launch brand-new volunteer programs. It includes volunteer management tools such as sample applications, handbooks, emergency contact forms, and job descriptions. Read more >
