Black Metropolis Research Consortium Fellowships
The Black Metropolis Research Consortium (BMRC) is now accepting Applications for the 2014 cycle of short-term fellowships. BMRC Short-Term Fellowships in African American Studies are open to doctoral candidates, scholars, artists, and writers working on all aspects of African American History, with preference given to those applicants who might make best use of BMRC consortia members' archival collections in Chicago. This fellowship program is made possible by the generous support of the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation. Stipends for BMRC Short-Term Fellowships will be $3000 per month for a maximum of two months between June and August 2014. Applications are due March 31, 2014. Apply today.
