Business History Conference Announces New Award

The Business History Conference announces a new annual award named for Dr. Ralph Gomory, an American businessman, author, mathematician, executive, and research professor. The Ralph Gomory Prize recognizes historical work on the effect business enterprises have on the economic conditions of a country in which they operate. Two prizes of $5,000 will be given: one for a book and one for an article. Deadline for submissions is December 31, 2010.
