Journal of Illinois History seeks manuscripts
The Journal of Illinois History seeks manuscripts on all facets of the history of Illinois and its citizens. Contributions in social, political, economic, and cultural history are welcome, as are related midwestern and Civil War topics, the history of the Northwest Territory, and Illinois biography. Articles for publication are carefully chosen by the editors, who solicit the comments of at least two referees. Articles are judged on their quality and depth of research, originality, significance of the subject matter, and appropriateness for the JIH.
