Robert J. Dole Institute of Politics Offers 2015 Research Grants

The Dole Archive and Special Collections at the Dole Institute of Politics houses Senator Bob Dole's extensive collections that document his 36-year career in the House and Senate. Established in 2010, our funding programs award grants to scholars engaged in projects studying Congress, politics, or policy issues. While in residence, the Research Fellow and Travel Grant awardees will use these collections, which encompass a wide range of legislative, historical, and policy issues.

The 2015 Research Fellowship is a $2,500 award and the fellow will be required to conduct research at the Dole Archives for a period of 1-3 weeks between July 1, 2015, and June 30, 2016. The deadline to apply is March 17, 2015.

The Travel Grant program is intended to defray costs associated with research-related travel to the Dole Institute and offers reimbursements of up to $750. Applications are considered on a rolling basis.
