About the OAH Magazine of History

OAH Magazine of HistoryEstablished in 1985, each quarterly issue of the OAH Magazine of History focuses on a theme or topic of recent scholarship in American history, and provides readers with informative articles, teaching strategies, and current historiography.

Recent issues (back to April 2003) of the OAH Magazine of History are also available online to current OAH members. Selected out-of-print issues are available on the OAH Magazine index page. (Look for the ::: symbol.) In early 2009, the OAH Magazine will be available in full-text, online at JSTOR.
