Tachau Teacher of the Year Award Submission Form

Thank you for nominating a teacher for the OAH Tachau Teacher of the Year Award. After completing the nomination form, your candidate will be nominated, and you will receive a confirmation via e-mail. Nominees will be contacted by OAH with further instructions on submitting supporting materials. Any K-12 teacher may be nominated throughout the year. The deadline for nominations is midnight PST on November 1 each year for the award to be given the following year. Nominations received after the deadline will be considered in the next award cycle.

The award is given each year at the spring OAH Conference on American History. The award committee will choose a winner by February, and the OAH office will notify the recipient at that time.
