The opportunities listed below are available to help offset costs in attending the OAH Conference on American History.

Eligibility for grants and discounts are listed in each section. Grant and funding applications have a due date of November 1 unless otherwise noted.

Free Registration Available for Graduate Volunteers

Graduate students have the opportunity to receive free registration in exchange for 4-hours of volunteer service. Availability is limited and is offered on a first-come, first-served basis. To sign up as a volunteer please view the schedule and select your top two time slots. Email your selections complete with your full name, email, and a phone number we can use to reach you on site.

Free Event Tickets

Luncheons:
Several luncheons offer complimentary lunch tickets. To view availability please view the list here (TBA).

Tours:
Via the Sponsor-a-Scholar program the OAH may be able to provide free tickets to tours at the conference for those with need. Please email below for availability.

Discounted Hotel Rates

A limited number conference hotel rooms at Federal Government and Student rates are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Please consider donating to the Conference Travel Grant Funds to support discounted conference registrations and travel stipends for graduate students, contingent faculty, independent historians, and K12 educators.
