Please join us for discussion on Joan Flores-Villalobos’s new book, The Silver Women: How Black Women’s Labor Made the Panama Canal. The event is co-sponsored by the USC Center for Latinx and Latin American Studies and USC Van Hunnick History Department.
The author will be joined by Sueann Caulfield (University of Michigan, Ann Arbor) and Jesse Hoffnung-Garskof (Harvard University). Moderated by Rhacel Salazar Parreñas (USC).
