Lecture Description

Screening of “Nat Turner: A Troublesome Property,” a one hour film nationally broadcast on PBS. Greenberg co-wrote, co-produced and was the historian on the film. Film followed by Greenberg talking and about the similarities and differences between telling a story on film and in print. Also, discussion of Nate Parker’s new feature film on Nat Turner — “The Birth of a Nation.”
