Michael W. Flamm

Michael W. Flamm teaches modern U.S. history at Ohio Wesleyan University. He is the author of How 1954 Changed History (2020), In the Heat of the Summer: The New York Riots of the 1964 and the War on Crime (2017), and Law and Order: Street Crime, Civil Unrest, and the Crisis of Liberalism in the 1960s (2005). He is the coauthor of Debating the 1960s (2007), Debating the Reagan Presidency (2009), and the Chicago Handbook for Teachers (2011). He has won several teaching awards and served as a Fulbright Scholar and Senior Specialist in Argentina.
