Thank you for hosting an OAH Distinguished Lecturer. If you have confirmed an OAH lecture you should have already received the host confirmation letter and invoice by email.

Lecture Fees
Traditional in-person OAH lecture fees start at $1,000. The host institution pays the lecture fee directly to the OAH and agrees to reimburse the speaker's travel and lodging expenses, if travel costs cannot be charged directly to the host.
Virtual OAH lectures include three options:
- Recorded lecture (starting at $300)
- Recorded lecture with live Q&A (starting at $450)
- Live online lecture with Q&A (starting at $600)
OAH lecture fees are designated by the speakers as donations to the OAH. Part of the operating budget, the funds help the OAH fulfill its mission of promoting excellence in the scholarship, teaching, and presentation of American history.
