The Gilder Lehrman Institute of American History and the Organization of American Historians are partnering to offer 100 Southern California teachers in our Affiliate School Program free registration at the 2023 OAH Annual Conference in Los Angeles, California, March 30-April 2, 2023.

The Gilder Lehrman Institute of American History was founded in 1994 by Richard Gilder and Lewis E. Lehrman, visionaries and lifelong supporters of American history education. The Institute is the leading nonprofit organization dedicated to K–12 history education while also serving the general public. Its mission is to promote the knowledge and understanding of American history through educational programs and resources.
$20 Dollar Registrations - Available January 16, 2023
Registrations are offered after January 16, 2023, on a first-come, first-served basis and are limited.
With the support of the Mellon Foundation, the OAH is able to offer a limited number of $20 registrations for attendees that fall into the following categories:
- Graduate Students - SOLD OUT
- Contingent Faculty
- Independent Scholars
- K-12 Educators

Free Registrations Available for Graduate Volunteers
Graduate students have the opportunity to receive free registration in exchange for 4-hours of volunteer service. Availability is limited and is offered on a first-come, first-served basis. To sign up as a volunteer please view the schedule and select your top two time slots. Email your selections complete with your full name, email, and a phone number we can use to reach you on site.

Tours:
Via the Sponsor-a-Scholar program the OAH may be able to provide free tickets to tours at the conference for those with need. Please email below for availability.
