Yes. In order to provide the most interactive and engaging online experience, we contracted a service that can provide the technology needed to house the 2021 OAH Annual Meeting in the virtual realm. Though we will be reducing the cost of registration by about 30%, the costs associated with the use of the online venue, as well as staff, and other associated costs, will not make it permissible for us to waive registration fees.

The live conference will take place from April 15‒18, 2021. However, all registered attendees will have access to the conference sessions, information, and technology until May 14, 2021.

Yes, the conference will include approximately 36 live sessions between Thursday and Saturday, and approximately 120 on-demand sessions.

Yes, we will include a fully interactive exhibit hall. Each booth will have full chat capabilities so you can speak to all exhibitors, browse their offerings, and even speak to other attendees in the booth at the same time as you!

There are several ways to talk to attendees. Most virtual spaces or rooms include a full chat feature where you are able to talk to all the people that are sharing the space with you. You have the opportunity to “whisper” to your peers to invite them to a one-on-one video chat. Attendees have the option to decline invites at any time.

All sessions will be available to view to registered attendees of the 2021 OAH Annual Meeting only. Sessions or supplemental material will be available to view only and not available for download.
