What is the OAH Annual Meeting | Virtual Conference on American History?
Each spring, the Organization of American Historians connects 2,000 history practitioners with publishers, research and teaching resource providers, associations, agencies, and those looking to meet with U.S historians at its Annual Meeting—the largest conference for American historians in the nation. The conference provides ample networking and sponsorship opportunities to get you front and center while presenting more than 150 informative sessions that present nationally renowned speakers on the most recent scholarship and pedagogy. The virtual format of the 2021 event will be no different!

Sponsorship Opportunities
Networking Lounge Sponsorship | $350 per day
Have your message posted daily in one of five networking lounges. The networking lounges are available to attendees during the conference for mix and mingle, and for scheduled special events. Be creative! Create a host of videos or activities to keep attendees informed and entertained in one of the Networking Lounges named after you or your event. Highlight books, authors, or guide attendees through services.
Lobby Sponsorship | $850 per day
The lobby is the first place attendees enter when they visit the virtual conference, it is also where they return as they move from space to space. The lobby houses the help desk where attendees can chat with each other and OAH staff. Have your banner welcome attendees with a direct link to your booth or webpage. Virtual Booth Samples
The OAH Annual Meeting Exhibit Hall displays a unique blend of publishers and resources for the American history professional, and it is a vital and active feature of the conference!
All virtual booths are fully customizable, so you can create the booth that best represents you and your product. Most importantly each booth includes a fully interactive chat box where you can see who is visiting your booth. You can message them in the public chat or take your conversation into a one-on-one video chat!

Exhibit Hall
The Exhibit Hall is made up of several sections. Exhibits will include the exhibitor's links to books and discounts, information, videos, and supplemental material. Each booth will also include the ability to chat live with the exhibit personnel or anyone else in the booth via the chat window, or in one-on-one video chat!
You will be able to wander the hall in two ways: You may move from section to section within the exhibit hall or from booth to booth. Looking for someone in particular? Just search for them in the search bar. (Click image for larger view, actual hall design may vary)
Chat Room Booth
The Chat Room will provide an opportunity for historians to share their knowledge and experiences with their peers. Led by up to two moderators, each 45-minute seminar will encourage conversation in a relaxed and unstructured environment.
Networking Booths
Networking Booths are similar to Networking Lounges. These will be located in the Exhibit Hall, and are designed to bring people of similar backgrounds and interests together in one space. Are you a graduate student? Visit the Graduate Student Booth!
The Hub
You will be able to sign up for one-on-one meetings with select acquisitions editors from various publishers. A list of publishers will be available soon!
"Hey, I Know Your Work" Mentorship Program
Graduate students, recent graduates, or early-career historians will be able to meet with established scholars to discuss research, professional aspirations, or simply to get acquainted. Mentors and Mentees will be able to meet at the Mentorship Booth for one-on-one conversations! (Information on the mentorship program will be available soon!)

OAH Annual Meeting Program
This print program mails to all OAH members in February 2021. Reserve your ad space by December 18, 2020, and reach approximately 8,000 professional scholars, educators, and graduate students in advance of the conference.
