What is the OAH Conference on American History?

Each spring, the OAH brings almost 2,000 history practitioners together with publishers and research and teaching resource providers for its conference—the largest conference for American Historians in the nation. The OAH Conference on American History provides more than 200 informative sessions and presents nationally renowned speakers on the most recent scholarship and pedagogy, now including a virtual component which will provide additional promotional opportunities.

Each 10x10 booth includes:

Exhibit Lite

Tabletop Display | $900

A budget friendly option. Save hundreds on shipping and staffing. Pack your entire booth in a suitcase! Display samples of your latest offerings and take orders on the spot. Attendees will appreciate the ability to purchase without the hassle of oversized luggage and baggage fees.

The fee for the Lite booth includes:

  • Two complimentary conference passes
  • Additional passes available at a discounted rate
  • 8ft draped table, two chairs, and wastebasket
  • Tabletop identification sign
  • Listing in the OAH Conference Program, the OAH Onsite Program, Mobile App, and web listing

Virtual Booth Options

Stand-alone Virtual Booth | $950

In-Person Exhibitor Add-on | $400 

Share your contact information, promote titles, and offer discounts to attendees and members in your virtual booth! Exhibitors receive a dedicated web page and may include a slideshow or Youtube video link, logo, contact info, and 300 words of text with links.

Other Exhibit Options

Panel Display In-person OR Virtual | $275

This affordable option is available for smaller, membership-based, non-profit organizations and is limited to non-profits such as historical associations, societies, and small museums.

Both options include:

  • Two complimentary conference passes (virtual or in-person, depending on which exhibit option you choose)
  • Listing in the OAH Conference Program, the OAH Onsite Program, Mobile App, and web listing

The in-person panel also includes:

  • 4ft draped table, chair, and easel

Cooperative Book Exhibit

Publishers and authors, participate in the OAH conference even if you can't attend in person! For only $125 per title, ($95 for 2-5 books, $60 for 6+ books), your latest and best selling U.S. history titles will be displayed for OAH attendees at the staff-monitored Cooperative Book Display, located near the OAH booth for prime visibility. The booth will allow attendees to order your books during the three-day convention via your order forms or through the onsite computer.
